Abhiram Bellur
Hi! I am a 2nd year PhD student at the University of Colorado Boulder, advised by Dr. Danny Dig. I completed my undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Engineering at the PES University, Bangalore, India. Before starting graduate studies, I worked as a data engineer at Rupeek, a fin-tech company based in Bangalore, India.
Research
Broadly, I am interested in improving the lives of developers, by attempting to automate tasks that are boring and tedious to them.
My research has focused on building tools that help developers improve the code quality (enabling best-practices, splitting large methods, consistently renaming variables). These tools have been built using a combination of IDEs, static analysis, and Large Language Models (LLMs).

Outside ⛰️
Much of my free time is spent outdoors or planning my next adventure! Primarily, I ride bikes for fun, and have been influenced by the Live Slow, Ride Fast mantra.
